I have an A7N8X and an xp1800+, currently at stock speed. Is something misconfigured, or is my CPU temp diode just fubar?

Um ow....

Check the bios for the actual temp. If it still says that, the sensor is just messed.

If you were running at 144c, it'd be smokin.

Yeah I know. Dont these things burn up around 90c?
I can choose from a few sensors for the CPU Diode, but I dont know which one it is. now im using W83L785tS-S and getting within a few deg of the CPU socket, or about 35-37C. Is this the correct sensor?

check your bios and compare the temp. You can also get Speedfan and see what temp that shows.
