CPU cooling simulator

this would be more of a development and design thread as this is something I'm currently research a build for. I'd like to start comparing some of my CPU coolers to get some good readings without throwing them into my case and trying to run them at high and low usages.

So my plan to simulate this project will be to get some peltiers and a few cheapo motherboards fit them into with the hot side up to simulate the CPU. The questions I'm left with now are what temperatures should I get to imitate a CPU? I've cheaked AMD and Itels websites and I've been able to find their max temps before shutting off but what I really need to find is what temperatures would they try to reach without any cooling? I've emailed AMD and Intel to try and find this out but I'm not expecting a response as this seems like something a bit above and beyond a typical tech support question.

My only other idea is to purchase a few peltiers and try to match temperatures with identical heatsinks, but I'm not sure if that would be the most accurate. If you guys have every heard of any ideas similiar to this, I'd love to hear them.

Any information you guys can provide would be incredibly helpful.
