i love the design, and think it would look great in my case, however i am just worried about the cooling as compared to a thermalright HSF any thoughts, experiences?

look for more on google. also, a lot of people complain that it goes from silent to ultra-loud in no time, with nothing in-between.

If noise isn't a concern, go for a Thermalright with a high speed 92mm fan. If you want quiet, check out the Zalman 7000a.

You could even use a 92mm medium-speed fan (~50cfm, around 30dB) and get good results with low noise.
