As title.
I have a 5930K running on XMP at 125MHz Strap, 127MHz BLCK, with ram at 2800MHz,
33 multiplier for a 4.2GHz.

I have set the minimum CPU cache ratio to 24 and the maximum to 28 but CPUz continue to report an uncore of 3GHz.
I have tried increasing the cpu cache ratio to 30 but it still run at 3GHz.

Why?

125mhz strap makes the cache ratio to a fixed 3GHz.
It is provably a bug of the X99 deluxe.

No problem in changing cache using 100 strap.

I discovered the problem of the cache ratio locked to 3GHz, no matter what set in bios.
this problem occurs only when on 125strap and the problem depends on Ai Suite.

AiSuite automatically set the cache ratio to 3GHz, if I uninstall AISuite, no problem.

I correct my self, AI Suite is the only software who can set a different cache ratio when 125 strap is in use.
Uninstalling the software leave my cache ratio locked to 3GHz.

Congratulation to Asus.

sblantipodi, isn't this what you need?

- How can an end user know what firmware is on his/her PSU? (Can users identify by the serial number what PSU they have? )
By the serial number. The first four digits are the date code. The first two digits are the year and then the next two numbers are the week of the year that the power supply were produced. The image above shows a Corsair AX860i Power Supply with serial number 1249954 that was made the 49th week of 2012 and would be running the original firmware.
AX760i/860i implementation date 3/15/2013 – First Lot number was: 13119560
AX1200i implementation date 3/8/2013 – First Lot number was: 13099520

EDIT, my Corsair AX860i was made on 2014 so it is multirail enabled by default at 30A for each rail.
But how this could be related to the cache problem?

Hi, sblantipodi,

I doubt it is related to the "cache problem", but I thought you might be interested to know that there is a new BIOS available for your motherboard and you said in your 10/12 post when asked if you had the most current BIOS:

"yes, 0904 for Asus X99 Deluxe"

According to the article at Legit Reviews ASUS released 1004 after that date.

I use the current bios as soon as they are released.
Now I'm on 1004 but nothing changed.
