I'm surprised there is no sticky here that's updated regularly which can show people what is currently available and what are "best picks" "best value" that sort of thing with intel cpu's. Last cpu I bought was a 3.2 P4 and now I'm so out of it have no idea whats good, whats not, whats the best value/performance. Is there a good site anyone can direct me to, to get updated on this stuff? I've read several pages worth of posts here and none of it helps.

Thanks

best/value/performance/overclockability would have to go the e6400 with its 8x multi which allows you to get to 3.2ghz fairly easily :) Have you checked out some of the C2D articles at anandtech?
