CPU 1MB cache, Mobo only supports 512KB

I have an Asus P4P800-S (i848p) and a P4 2.4Ghz Prescott (533FSB) the CPU has 1MB of L2 cache but the motherboard only supports 512KB of L2 cache...could this cause me any problems?

Get the latest bios that supports the Prescott and you'll be fine.

With your P4P800S motherboard, you'll need BIOS version 1005 or higher in order to support your 2.4A GHz Prescott Pentium 4 CPU.
