Coworker needs replacement PSU

My coworker either has a faulty PSU (Turbolink LC-A350) or the motherboard is providing a faulty power good signal. He'll be bringing the PSU in so I can test it, but I'd like to have an inexpensive replacement lined up if it is bad as I suspect.

I noticed that newegg has the Corsair 400CX for $36 after shipping and rebate, which seems quite reasonable to me. However, I haven't hunted PSUs in well over a year, so thought I'd check to make sure that Corsair still has the steller reputation and that there isn't anything that'd make a better suggestion. (Also, what's up with the Coolmax CX-400B? rebranded unit or just trying to emulate Corsair model numbers to confuse peeps?)

Also, do y'all have any other suggestions I should take a look at? From what I know about the system, 300W or more should be fine... especially as that turbolink thing managed to power it for a few years.

Thanks!

First step I like to do is do a newegg.com power search fall 80plus power supplies, and then sort by price:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...&bop=And&ActiveSearchResult=False&Order=PRICE

First link is that Corsair. Yes, Corsair has a good rep for power supplies. I'm not sure I've seen a review for that specific 400W, but I wouldn't hesitate.

There are a couple down the page that are $10 cheaper if you don't factor in the MIR, just mentioning in case you have any MIR hatred/reservations.
The Seasonics, Sparkle, PCPC, and Antec Earthwatt are probably safe bets. Keep in mind, the variants with a 120mm fan will likely make less noise.

Guess I'll be recommending he go with the 400CX then...

Thanks for the quick responses!
