I have several temp sensors that I have for an LCD display. The question I have is, should I remove the little transparent-yellow covers over the sensor ends. When I use everest to check the temps I get 39c but the lcd only read 28.4c. Could that be part of the problem?
 
hm i didnt take the yellow covers off and they seem to work fine for me
 
It must be placement then. I hear a ton of people saying to put the CPU sensor on the heatsink. Where would be the best place on a stock AMD 64 heatsink? Or should I just not worry about it and wait till I get my XP90?
 
I had no idea where to put my cpu sensor, so I put inside one of the fins on the HeatSink. Is that ok? Will it give an accurate reading?
