Hey all,

For a new gaming rig im building ive been looking at several cases. As long as it can hold most internal components, is of good/sturdy quality, looks nice, and keeps everything cool, im up for persuasion :

Cooler Master Haf X $180

Cooler Master Haf 932 $160

Rosewill Thor V2 White $140

NZXT Phantom White $120

What is your choice and why? Not one of the ones listed, but still in the same price range, then tell me! :D

Thanks for the help! (sarcasm...)

I decided on the Phantom 410, which is the best of all worlds, it has the see-thru-panel, USB3.0, 5 lbs lighter, and relatively smaller. Should be a good size for alll of my components.

haf-x has always been a favorite of folks, corsair obisdian as well as corsair carbide line are others,

Enermax Fulmo line(these are apprently excellent and well thought out, worth a look)
Silverstone Raven 2E and Raven 3 are also excellent(I have a 3 and love it take a little time to wire it up, though they do have quite a bit of room and quite good cooling)
Azza 9000 Genesis(huge, you think it, you can make it)
Corsair Vengeance C70, Rosewill R5(very roomy and excellent cooling apprently)
Spire Epoxi Rev 2, Cougar Evolution Mid Tower Case(one of the better cases out there)
NZXT Source 210 ELITE(cheap but excellent)
Raidmax Blackstorm, Raidmax Viper, Akasa Venom Toxic(near the best, though it does have some irks) Rosewill Blackhawk Ultra(huge if thats your thing :p)

well, I gave you some choices to add to your list, everyone has thir own opinion on looks, space etc. I personally am getting away from the whole crud load of fans type approach, to hard to get a good airflow and direct it to where its needed, but to each thier own :)

Enjoy.

Erp...

Sorry, bud - your reply made it sound like you went ahead with the Phantom...

If you are still taking suggestions, I'd add the NZXT Switch 810 as my personal favorite.

It's big - sure, but tons of 140mm fan mounts (2 of them with adjustable angles), ability to go watercooled in a big way later, top vents that can be closed to quiet the system when not gaming, available in 4 colors, LED light for the rear I/O panel, built in SD card slot & hot-swap bay - the list goes on.

Re-reading it, yes, i did make it seem that way, my bad :(

And yes, the Switch 810 has been growing on me.... But for now, im trying to decide between the Phantom full tower and the phantom 410. Im just having a hard time deciding. If i go with the full tower, ill buy the side-window panel (its out of stock, they still make it right?). Ill eventually buy some led fans for the case as well, and down the road ill probably buy the Aperture-M that looks amazing :D

Agh still cant decide lol

I decided to stay away from the 410 on the account of limited air-flow
