I am getting ready to build a new machine and am going to start by buying the cpu, Is the e6700 worth the $ difference of an e6600? Also are all C2D mobos DDR2? The reason I ask is that I have some really nice Corsair PC3500LL Pro DDR and I'm not really ready to let it go yet!

Pre-Thanx!;)

IMO opinion, no it's not, easily oc a 6600 to its speeds, there are ddr mobos but they don't overclock very well, even if you left the 6600 and 6700 at stock speed its still not worth the cost for a 6700
