Counterstrike 1.6 problem

Hello all,
i've got this peculiar problem with my system and Counterstrike 1.6.
Whenever i play that game at random times i get like a freeze frame ingame accompanied by a sound loop and the keyboard stops reacting ingame. So i can move my mouse(the image stays the same) but the keyboard does not have effect on the game. Although i can CTRL+ALT+DEL and exit into the desktop the keyboard does not work ingame.
If i CTRL+ALT+DEL and then return back into the game i can play along but my keyboard still doesnt affect the game 100% now, so i can move around using the W,A,S,D and switch weapon but i cannot buy weapons for example in the game menu. But gaming again is interrupted later with a new freeze frame(it looks like someone took a snapshot,like a frame that skips the row of frames, you can see it clearly, like you have 0.5fps).
I have tryied to load optimize defaults,change usb keyboard to a ps2 one,memtest rams,take out X-Fi XtremeAudio,reinstalled the game,update graphics drivers,update Creative drivers.
What can it be?

Mine randomly has problems in the BUY menu. Sometimes the keyboard strikes don't register on the BUY menu and I have to use the mouse.

Is that the problem you face? Or does it impact other areas of the games?

What you say is valid for me if i get a freeze, press ctrl+alt+del and get into the desktop and then close the windows task manager and get back into the game.
Then keyboard works fine(W,A,S,D) but i cannot buy with the keyboard.
Have you found a solution for that?
Is there a problem with Quads+CS1.6?
