etc etc etc. its been doing this for days :-/

i was using the console version b4, then i just switched to the graphical version, still seems to be doing it...

i opened port 8080 on my router today, but still doesnt help

ne1 know what could be wrong?

and i tested my overclock and its stable so thats not the issue

Try restarting the service. On my aging Win2k install, sometimes the client chokes, and it fixes itself after a restart.

Stanford is having some network issues. Official post from the Stanford News page:

I think a lot of people have been having issues. I had the same thing happen a few days ago.

I just kept the client going and it eventually connected and uploaded my work and downloaded a new WU.

darn its still not working

btw i couldnt find my name on the New F@H Members list on hardfolding.com even tho i registered on the 12th or 13th..

is that possibly a reason as to why i cant connect? i can login to hardfolding.com tho and change my profile, etc

You won't find your name on hardfolding.com until you turn in a WU..It is our team's website and as such is not really attached to Stanford except to grab points info. What is your folding ID?

Yes and sometime, it take 2-3 days to produce a WU so just wait a few days more, ideally 1 week before starting to worry
