could Audigy 2 = Audigy 2 ZS with softmod?

Hi! i have somebody told me that after a softmod with audigy2zs software you could get the Audigy 2 to be Audigy 2 ZS with the equalizer and THX console. I am newb to this so I wonder if somebody has experience on that will clear this thing up for me?

You used to need a hack to make the EQ work but otherwise the ZS drivers were a nice improvement.

There was a hack or modded drivers that did just this. I don't have the link any more but it's out there.
