So many games will use psysx for a bit more detail in games. Would ati ever support that? I know nvidia owns the company that develop psysx but would ati ever buy a license agreement to use it? If nvidia wont allow it, wouldnt it break some kind of a fair use technology agreement where nvidia is preventing ati from doing the psysx?
 
The industry is moving toward OpenCL. AMD/ATI Already has great OpenCL support.

If there were no legal barriers, I could see them making some kind of OpenCL to CUDA translator, but in the current environment you will never see that happen.
 
With a rumored ATI gpu in all upcoming consoles, and AMD pushing OpenCL hard, I don't see a reason why AMD would want to license something proprietary.
 
PhsyX has barely made any substantial effect on my gaming between my nvidia/amd cards. I don't see the point with OpenCL as the above have mentioned.
 
Could? Yes, without a doubt. Would?? Not very likely. There's some history there I'm not real clear on, but basically Nvidia wants AMD to pay $$$$$$$ for the license to use it and AMD doesn't think it's worth it.
