Not sure if anyone has mentioned it yet, but costco.com has the 3007 and 2707WFP's now, but unfortunately, no HC version yet.

Costco had (thought they still did) a policy where any product you buy from them can be returned at any time for any reason. You could purchase any item and return it fifteen years later no questions asked. That policy alone, and the trust it implied, was one of the major reasons I wanted a Costco to open up near me.
well if you go to a costco web page for a TV, it states the limited return policy, but it doesn't say anything similar for monitors. the sales people also say it does not fall under the 90 day policy.
I just came from Costco and spoke with a manager. The 90 day return policy DOES NOT apply to monitors. That being said, I agree that it is wrong to buy something if you know you are going to return it six months later when something better comes out. I do, however, like the lattitude that Costco's return policy affords you. It's certainly a strong incentive to buy stuff from them.I think you have misunderstood, it applies for all electronics. People who talk themselves in that policy is still dreaming.
