Whole bunch of Murder Mod Sleeving!
So here is a pic with old mobo and CPU cooler and New cards and PSU
OK so I started sleeving but I ran into a little issue. I made sure to get the EVGA Classified part 760/761 because I heard no issues with Rev85 PSUs. However low and behold I am having issues. So I'm getting an RMA from Enermax. So sleeving put to the side...
I guess lets move on to the case and get it prepped....
Say bye bye plain ol' case!
So instead of sharing with you another pic in the midst of me taking it apart, I'll share with you a reminder....
WEAR GOGGLES!!!!
That is a drill bit that snapped in half while removing rivets. Thank JEEBUS I was wearing goggles because it came flying at my face.
OK so here are some pics of the case...in a box...
And here is a pic of the bottom panel with a 240 rad hole cut out...and one of the motherboard tray with a cable management hole cut out.
picked up the case from the powder coaters...so glad i went with the wet black over the flat black. The X-Fi is there to show the reflection...
Bare with me here I just got a new camera so hopefully these come out ok.
First up new D0. Good friend at Microcenter had this on hold for me!
Man its hot in here I wish I had a fan or two....
Its coming together
This dual bay res with DDCs is nice...easy to use...could use some more room for the pump wiring though.
Oscar approves. Its time for leak testing...
Currently its up and running. However the cabling needs some work, looks like i'll have to cute some more cable management holes in the Mobo tray. Also I got a new Intel X25m Gen 2 to play with
I have it drained and I'll be dremeling out some more holes and I'll be re-plumbing it.
I also got UN designs to help me out with a new faceplate...
here is a render...
