Im planning to get these for my system in the very near future for a good price but i wanted to know what concensus on these? I play a lot of Css and Im upgrading from Kingston Value ram. Are they good performing ram that would give me a performance increase or is the cool led lights just for show. Thanks

the looks mean nothing. compare the timings of your current value ram to the new stuff.. chances are it won't be more than a 2-5% performance difference at most. i'd advise getting a solid set of 2x1gb ram, not a flashy set of.. well, whatever you're looking at ;)

well what would you consider a good set of ram for the money. (around $150)

Gskill? Hmmm....I honestly have never heard of it. How good is this ram and would it benefit me more with gaming than the corsair expert? Anyone else have used this ram with good results?

Well, G-skill is as good, if not better than Corsair.
Corsair is just more mainstream, yet when you consider the performance to price ratio - g-skill is a better bet.
