Just read the review by jonnyguru on the new Corsair 450W PSU.

Corsair hit the ground running last year with the release of two top notch modular power supplies. This year, they took a chance and instead of going with a mega-high power unit like everyone else has and so many enthusiasts think they want, Corsair has taken the route of providing the DIY community with what they need: A top notch quality, feature rich power supply capable of putting out enough power for 90% of the users out there.

Corsair with another hit :D

I was looking for a decent budget PSU to stick in my server before the Antec Smartpower dies and takes the whole thing and this might just fit the bill.

Anybody know how much it costs.

Edit: Closer look at the review says its supposed to be under 85 bucks. So new question whens it going to be in stores.

3 cheers to Corsair for coming out with a low watt PSU, instead of the monster PSU's that most companies are trying to shove down the peoples throats.

another great corsair psu, now if it would cost around $65-70 (its possible to get 520hx for ~80) it would be great, can't wait for it to show up in stores.

You can get the HX520W for ~ $80 right now w/ rebates, but don't count on those rebates lasting.
