I unfortunately had my corsair 620HX crap out on me. I'm not sure what happened, just that it stopped powering on. I filled out the form on the Corsair site, and got ready to mail my PS into them.

Once I actually got around to mailing it to them, they had mailed me the new one the same day they received my broken one (according to the website). I had my replacement PS, brand new and shrink wrapped, five days later (I live in Canada, which adds a day or two).

I have to say that I was prepared to defend what I had done, or why this was my fault, but there was none of that. Honestly, my only gripe about the whole ordeal was that I had the new power supply before the website showed that they had shipped one. Which really, is only a down because of not knowing the status.

Also, I emailed the rep for corsiar on the board (Redbeard) and he was willing to follow up and give me information and fast-track it if possible.

Great experience!! (for having a busted PSU).

One of the prime reasons we recommend Corsair PSU's, is that on the rare occassion a replacement is needed,
their customer service & RMA are among the very best!

Best Wishes,
Dave :)

I also just did this like two weeks ago and had the same experience. Like you i did not have a status of my new ps. The rep told me that there may have been a problem with the site. But bravo to them for shipping me one that very same day.. better than ASUS..

Yeah my HX620 crapped out last night and I just setup the rma I hope mine goes as smooth as yours.

Corsair RMA was the best I've ever experienced. Brand new, shrinkwrapped in the package, with all the manuals and cables. You just can't beat it.

I must say Cosair RMA is top notch! They got my PSU on the 21st and sent me an email saying it would take 5 bussiness days to process. I just got home from the store today(23rd) and there was a Brand New shrinkwrapped HX620 sitting on my doorstep.

Good to hear about Corsair's CS, I had no problems with them a few years ago when RMAing a couple of bad memory sticks.

My TX750 died this week so I will be sending that back soon. Does anyone know if I would be able to "exchange" it for a different but lesser model PSU? I want to get one of the 520/620 modular units instead of another 750

The HX620 is more expensive than the TX750, so I doubt you'd be able to exchange it for that. The HX520 might be a possibility, but the only way to find out for sure would be to contact Corsair and ask them directly.

I also think Corsair's RMA process is great. I've RMA'd memory sticks and PSU's and never had a problem.

I've just RMA's my Corsair HX1000 because the fan stopped spinning but they say they are experiencing a busy period with warranties so I have to wait an extra 5 working days. Still waiting for a response from them regarding the status of testing.

I've always bought Antec PSU's in the past , but I just picked up a Corsair 650TX because of the many many posts like this not only praising Corsair's PSU line , but thier great customer service as well.

Received my RMA TX750 today and just finished installing it. It's nice to get a brand new unit shrinkwrapped in the original package and everything, not some refurb or "b-grade" part. They received my bad PSU on 5/8 and I received the new one today, so 2 weeks turnaround exactly from when I mailed it out. I'm on the east coast as well. Checking my status online only shows when they received my bad PSU, and it has not been updated with any other info so keep that in mind if you every have to RMA a part through them. 2 thumbs up Corsair.
