Corsair has just released a new P3 Performance Series SSD at CES 2011. A pair of these Marvell-based 6Gbps SSDs pushes 431MB/sec in write speeds and 886MB/sec read speeds according to ATTO.

What say you guys? I've got the previous generation Performance Series 256GB SSD, and it is freaking FAST. I can only imagine that this P3 series will be ridiculously fast. I'm still eager for the day that NAND-based fixed disks are as fast as RAM chips are (somewhere in the 10-30GB/sec range), but the fact that we're approaching 1GB/sec read speeds is ... I have to say, quite impressive. That is scary fast.
