I've used this mouse for a while and I like it. Has a good grip.
I've been looking at getting this, but I see that the M65 is out. Is the newer version better enough to warrant waiting for that, or would this do fine?
This is fine...the new one has a more sensitive sensor but 99% of the people don't need it that sensitive...
The M60 has cursor drift issues that were fixed in the M65.
Never had cursor drift issue with steelseries mousepad. I did adjust the pickup height in the drivers but otherwise no complaints on this mouse.
I've never noticed it or heard of it until now and just looked it up. Using the m60 and steelseries mousepad also. I guess now I know why my monitor would randomly wake up from sleep.
they also updated the switches to more durable 20 million click ones on the m65
How big is this compared to the MX518? I've been trying to find a mouse of that size but with a shape that is like the MS sidewinder, with the hump at the back rather than the middle.
Don't have an M65 but here is the M60 next to a 518. The Corsair is a bit shorter, wider and heavier. I use the M60 on my main PC and the Logitech on my notebook.
I'm the one who posted about cursor drift with the M60. It's possible that my M60 was defective because no one else has reported that problem. I replaced it with an M65 which is excellent. Highest recommendation!!
The white color looks nice!
It's a SIIG Aluminum keyboard. Got it from Overstock.com for $64. It's a great keyboard. Very solid and sleek.
I like it, too.
How is this compared to a g500? Mines getting pretty weak, needing an upgrade soon.
