Anyone know where I can find the brackets for the h70? I installed the h70 yesterday but the plastic thing that goes into the metal bracket kinda broke, plastic split in half.... not sure what i did
youll want to call them. i find it takes forever if youre lucky to get any support over email unless youre emailing someone directly. corsair has one of the best customer support ive seen in a long time. im sure they can set you up.
that being said, i own the original oem h50 and now the h70. the mounting for the h50 was solid and easy. the h70 mounting is cheap and very difficult in comparison. add to that they did change the mounting brackets so they are NOT compatible. they should have stayed with the original design bracket as it was more robust. the new stuff you can break very easily, and the screws used are barely long enough when you first try to mount the pump. once you get it on it works great though. i just hope the screws dont get pulled out of the cheap-ass plastic mount over time.
Corsair was able to get in touch with me via email, and one of the rep said to email jackflash@corsair.com which I did took about couple of days for someone in the email group to email me back. he said which part i needed based on the image he emailed me. Haven't heard anything yet, but I expect he probably mailed me my parts.
