Corsair H50 problem again.....

guys I had another problem with the h50... and the pump is making a weird noise when the CPU is not operating at 100%.. So when i let the computer idle, the pump is making a weird giggling noise but when I run Prime95. the noise disappear. and reappear once i stop prime95.... what is wrong here? is it that the pump still need time to settle in?
 
go into your bios and turn off the setting that automatically adjusts your CPU fan according to load. I'm guessing that your mobo is cutting the voltage to the h50, which causes the pump to spaz out.
 
I don't own an H50 but I want one and have read up on it. You really shouldn't plug the pump into the CPU fan header. It needs to be running at 100% power all the time.

I have an H50, I have the pump plugged into the PWR fan header on my board which means the boards fan features don't affect it and put out 100% power the whole time. It reports as 1400rpm. I have the rad sitting on top of the rear 180mm fan in my FT-02 with the corsair fan on top in a push-pull. the corsair fan is plugged into the CPU fan header and averages a little less than 1600rpm.
 
yep. pump to power header and the FAN goes on the cpu header. that way you can still see the pump rpm in the bios.

This. Its just slowing down because ur cpu is in idle.

Watch the video. It states to NOT plug in the pump to the CPU fan header.
