Corsair h100i issue

I recently changed my OS over to Win 8.1 64bit from Win 7 64bit. I was running the Corsair Link software without any problems on Win 7. After I upgraded to Win 8.1 the Link software won't detect my pump or my fans of the h100i whatsoever.

I have found a thread on Corsair's forums but to no avail. It will not let me access it, I am a member. (No offense to [H] I only joined to look at that thread. I use [H] daily =] )

From what I have read about it, the fix is something that you change within the registry. But I cannot find this information anywhere else. And as i said I cannot get to the page where the information is on the Forum. It just gives me a message that is very vague. It says that my acct is either not activated or I'm not logged in. But it is activated.

I am just wondering if anyone has had this issue with the software on 8.1 and have found a solution.

what version of Corsair Link are you using?.. try changing the USB cable to another USB header in the motherboard to force the OS to detect it again as new USB device.. can you post a screenshot of the Corsair Link interface?.

and here is the view of all of system tab, it detects everything except the h100i's pump, fans and led.

Other than this problem with detecting the hardware, it works fine, the Led is blue, just like i set it on my Win 7 install (its still present btw.) the fans work fine, it keeps cpu cool but i just cant adjust anything. because it won't show up in CL. I had it plugged into a header on mobo, it detected it, windows did anyway and installed drivers, i put it in another header same, it just doesn't detect in CL, so now i have it connected to a usb port on my mobo I/O panel. But to no avail. Still the same. And i have uninstalled and reinstalled restarted several times.

Delete/unistall that Version of Corsair Link. shut down your machine(not restart, just shut down) a couple of minutes.. turn on and install This version of Corsair Link its dedicated to H80i/H100i Units...

Ok, I did what you said, there was some changes, both my video cards show now, and a 3rd one lol. But in the devices there is an option for a firmware update, but when i go to do the update, it asks me to select device, it has Commander and Corsair h80i/h100i when i select the h100i and click ready it says to "select firmware file!"
I assume i get the firmware file online somewhere, I'll do some searching right now. But if you have any info about this, I would greatly appreciate it. :) Thanx in advance.

that option its for update the firmware of the H100i unit.. how old its the unit? if using 1.0.5 or more recent do not update it if you aren't having any issue with the unit... its working good the Corsair Link software?.
 
The software is working... except the same issue, the unit isn't being shown at all in the software, just nothing. I can't manage any of the settings, the fan are running in Default mode, working fine. But I can't access any of the controls for it, because it isn't listed as one of the devices in the link software.

OK, I got it working so far, everything is showing up now, I had it plugged into my Mobo's I/O panel in the back with another mini usb cable, i switched it back to the cable that connects to one of the usb header cables and it works fine now.

If it wasn't for you giving me that link to that software download I would've never gotten it to work. So thanks so much for that. God Bless [H] and all its wonderful users =]

I'm having the same issue. but just received my RMA unit and it came up 1st time. Asked for firmware update, and I said "yes" and now I wish I hadn't. I am back to where I was with my original unit. Unfortunately the software version (and all others) make little difference.
