i just intalled a corsair h100 into my rig yesterday and worked great. closed it up, brought it home (built it @ my job). last night i noticed the fans got kinda high, no biggie. i brought it to work today and opened it up to have a look, and the lights on the cooler itself will come on and turn off right away and the fans are pretty high and 1 fan isnt spinning. Did my cooler short out?

you can try resetting the firmware to see if it fixes it.

To reset the firmware, use the following procedure:

1. While the computer is running, hold down the profile button for approximately five seconds
2. Wait one minute, while the unit continues to run
3. Shut down your computer
4. Press and hold the profile button for five seconds while turning on the power to your computer.

i dont get any lights on the Corsair thingy at all, but ill give it a whirl

notta :/ still no lights and 1 dead fan. I swapped the fans around and its just the 1 port...

its new?... RMA it.. it should not have any trouble with the lights or fans.... if just have one day and are showing problems. the best is just RMA..

Bought it off a member a month ago. Just finished my build last night. If I can't rma, I'll try a good ol' switch at best buy

Call to corsair.. They have nice warranty.. Should receive a new one... Or better maybe a h100i to replace your h100

I had that happen few times. It seemed that the water pump turned off and cpu was over 90C. Never going to touch another H100.

that have an easy solution.. RMA.. say never going to touch another H100 its just like said you never going to touch any other AIO Water kit, or any custom water kit, electronic pieces are always tend to crash, nobody cant tell when could be damaged.. its just luck.. as some people have good luck other have bad luck.... i've seen even Intel/AMD boxed HSF damaged after a couple of days of use, and I remember on my old E8400 stock HSF the fan got damaged after a month or so of use, the third PIN sensor broke and the mobo does not recognized anymore...

im using the computer right now, and to ease the noise i returned the CPU to stock clocks, and im running 1 intake fan into the case and 1 exhaust out the rad. im using a asrock z77e-itx. Its running just fine until i figure out what to do. I started a RMA process with corsair but im curious on how these not being serialized and also the lot number was ripped off the box for Rebate (its above the UPC).
