A buddy of mine just picked up a Corsair 600T case that replaced an old Antec Solo. He's been doing some overclocking with his i5 760 on a ASUS P55D Pro and getting ok results, but he's still using the stock CPU fan. He's looking to either replace it with a watercooling unit. Is jumping from the H50 to the H70 worth it? Or should he just grab the A70 instead? Or perhaps something else?

If it can fit in his case, he might as well go with a heatpipe cooler. If he's concerned about stress on the motherboard, go for the H50/H70. The H50 and H70 generally perform in the same range as heatpipe coolers in their price range.

A rasa kit? the 600t does some good internal watercooling.

RASA kit was more expensive than the H70.

Good to know. Any worthwhile difference between the H50 and the H70?

H70 has a thicker radiator, and better fans (I think).
