Grrr but its a damn sexy case.

it is damn sexy indeed... too bad i don't need that big of a case. the 350d is pretty nice too.... but i don't plan on exchanging my atx for a m-atx any time soon. hopefully they got a mid tower in the same design style comming out soon before i decide just spend 230 on a fto2.

I'd like the design if it was a mid-tower like the 650d and the drive bays wern't retarded, I hope you don't plan on mounting anything in there. It only looks nice when the bays are empty because of the oversized frame.

Despite how damn sexy the case is I just don't know what I would put in it. I worry about it feeling empty. And then there is the recessed Drive bay that I worry about. Thats the only thing that really irks me about it. I'm grabbing a smaller 350D and won't be putting anything in the drive bays because it ruins the aesthetic.

I'm the same. My 800d is barely filled up as it is.

so far my only complaint about thise case since i got it. You can not get the thumb screws in the video cards to secure them to the case. the cards are too tall and you can not get a screw driver in there to get them in.

You just have to angle your screwdriver. Not sure how your cards are too tall, the spec hasn't changed. Are you sure you have the card seated properly?

meant to say i had 680 classifieds. which are taller and the included tool with the case is too small.

Oh, you're using non-reference Classifieds. That's why. Surprised you haven't had that issue before. Can't really fault the case for that.

All 680 classifieds are non reference. This is the first case ive had issues with them. Think they have been in 5 different cases this year

I'm considering this case too but when I saw the 800D in person it seemed pretty cheaply made with it's painted metal panels. it looked way better in pictures than in person.

is the 900D any better from a material standpoint? I might have to go with a caselabs case. I don't like the large window that much either, always preferred windows that don't show all the cables going to the drive in the front, that's just tacky.

Since this is an Ultra Tower, yes we can find fault.
Enthusiast grade cases should fit enthusiast grade components without issue.

See Caselabs

That little inner frame brace that's not seen on normal cases just gets in the way.

Eas emailing with Performance PC's today, they said they will be in next week

I'm currently using the 700D,and while I really like it overall and love having tons of room to work with, I really don't think I'd be satisfied with another case that's even bigger.

I seriously wish a company like Corsair would offer an extremely simple yet good quality and attractive case that is little more than a metal box on the inside. I want to mod and personally customize my own case, dang it! I know it's possible to do this with existing options, but I feel like I'd be paying extra for parts and features I'm just going to gut and throw away. And that's wasteful, folks. /wag-of-the-finger
