ok, im in a situation here where i have two psus, one 650tx and one 750tx, and i was wondering which one is of better quality/quieter considering the 650tx is a seasonic unit and the 750tx is a cwt unit.

from what ive seen around some forums is that the 650 is better and also quieter, and that the 750tx is of less quality because of the older cwt arch, but i wanted to get an opinion from you guys.

according to you guys, 650 watts is enough for my rig:

core i7 920... looking to overclock to like 4ghz
6gb ddr3
dfi x58 matx mobo
gtx 260 55nm
2 hd
1 dvd drive
4-5 fans.

so either psu will be fine obviously, but i need to return/sell one of the psus, so which one should i choose to achieve my goals of a quality/quiet psu?

EDIT: i know that the 650 has a 120mm fan and that the 750 has a 140mm fan, and that theoretically the 750 should be quieter but some people say otherwise.
 
I would give the edge to the TX650 overall, but both are good PSUs. It really doesn't make a difference with your PC.
 
The TX650 is about the quietest Corsair I've tried, I could barely feel any air coming out the back. Even compared it side by side with a HX620, and that one was a smidge noisier. So you're getting a pretty quiet PSU.
 
The TX750 is more future proof and will allow you to sli your 260 gtx card in the future. Get the TX750, there's not really much of a price difference.

wont be sli'ing or crossfiring in the future, quietness is somewhat important and well two video cards is going to be pretty loud.
 
Spend the extra money and get a 620HX if you want the best quality.

The only real benefit of the HX620 over the TX650 is the modular cables. Otherwise, the TX650 has more capacity and uses the same platform and similar components compared to the HX620.
 
Also one might say that the non-modular model would be "best quality".
