Corsair 550D H80 Issue

I tried installing my H80 into my Corsair Obsidian 550D last night but the screws on the H80 just go right through the screw holes. I am sure there is a way to get the Corsair H80 to work with the Corsair 550D, could anybody offer some tips ?

Do you mean the rubber mounts that were preinstalled in the holes ? if so yes i am and the screws go right through them. If you mean washers that were in the box then I didn't see any but I will be sure to check it out after work.

Yeah you need the washers that come with the H80 otherwise it slips through. You can see them in this linked PDF quick start guide.

I should still have the washers in my H80 box. Worst case I have some from work. That's why I missed them though was I was looking at what came with the case and not the H80. No other case I have installed the H80 into has needed them.
