Perhaps I just don't fully understand the tech here, but I'm hoping someone can give me a little guidance. I'm trying to decide if I should buy a discreet sound card for my new system build. my question is since I primarily use the aforementioned head phones which connect wireless via USB will I still see a noticeable difference with the sound card over the on-board realtec?? I've always used sound cards in the past but I've also always used corded head phones that plugged directly into the sound card.

My new build is as follows if it makes any difference
Asus sabertooth r2.0 990fx
amd 8350fx
16 gig corsair ram @ 1866
2 asus 7870 2g vid cards
corsair h1000i
2 corsair gs ssd's in raid "0"

also I keep seeing alot of complaints about creatives new drivers is there an alternative? if I go the sound card route I would like to stay in the 100 or less range.

USB headphones have their own sound hardware built in. The audio card used on the system will make zero difference.

that's what I was thinking but I wasn't sure thanks for confirming it.
