Corrupting Installs WD3200JD

Finally got my mobo back so I installed Windows XP w/sp2

windows installs fine,however when I tried to install Firefox, quicktime,Winzip Si Mark etc I get these strange corrupt errors, every program is a diffrent error but the general gist is they download fine but when I go to open them they are corrupt. I tried redownloading the files from diffrent places and the same result, I also got all the windows updates and to no avail same problems

My drive is a WD3200JD Wester Digital 320gig SATA 1

my mobo is A8N-E SLI Deluxe

Currently I am running the diagnostic tool on the drive.
 
Try installing a different SATA cable if you have one and check your RAM with Memtest86 to make sure your not getting any errors. I would also do a fresh install of Windows again after you do that.
