Hey,

Does corrupted ZIP/RAR files mean that your CPU OC is not stable?? I keep getting these error messages whenever I finished downloading it. So frustrating.

IWhat is your PCIE frequency set to? I have only had file curruptions when it was anything other than 100.

Possible BAD Memory too...

My PCIE is 100 i think....

My DDR is at 500mhz,

I have Q6600 @ 3.0Ghz.

I have GSkill 2x2GB, DDR8000

Try running memtest86+ for minimum of four hours, bad memory is the only thing I can think of..

A fragmented hard drive has nothing to do with file corruption. NTFS and even FAT/FAT32 will store your files reliably regardless of how fragmented they get. Can you imagine the flack MS would take if this were not the case? Most people never defragment their disks and don't get corrupted files.

To the OP: Run memtest.
