Corrupted volume, need software to red partitions

Hi,

I'm trying to install partition magic to let me redo the partitions o my computer. One volume was overwritten with a unix partition which i can't see in windows. Now i need to get partition magic to erase and reformat it, but i can't go through with the installation

Is there a stand-alone program that will let me do this?

it's been a while since i've used it but i think partition magic is bootable using the cd..
