I recently upgraded my computer because my old one decided to finally die. I had a backup of everything on the old IDE harddrive up to 6 months ago. I tried to boot the new computer off the old IDE harddrive and it would keep rebooting after posting. I installed the new WD 80GB Serial ATA drive and loaded XP Proffessional on that and had no problems. I installed the old IDE harddrive in my case and hooked it up. I can access the windows/program folders on the old IDE harddrive, but I am not able to access My Document?

I keep getting an "Accessed Denied" prompt when I click on My Document. Could the hardrive be hosed or is the My Documents folder still acssesible? Under the IDE HD properties it is still registering that the same amount of space is being used.

Any help would be appreciated, Matt.
