I have all my parts ready to put together except the Pentosin which will hopefully be here tomorrow. I'd like to get everything set up and start leak testing tonight and was wondering if it would be ok to run with just straight distilled water for now. My parts are:

AquaXtreme WhiteWater Limted Edition block
Black Ice Pro 2 rad
Danger Den CSP-MAG pump

Would I be in any danger of corrosion while I leak test?
 
are you using the aluminum top or the clear plastic top on the whitewater? The aluminium top can react with the copper of the block but not immediatly.
 
short answer .. who knows...

WWMD = What Would Mal Do = wait for the pentosin .. why risk it..
 
WhiteWater LE is all copper IIRC. If this is the case then you can *probably* run straight distilled for a day or two before the Pentosin gets here.
 
Yeah I was thinking on the old whitewater which is the one I have, It has the option of a clear top or aluminium top. Suffice to say most used the plastic top.
