I am a little confused on flashing the bios for my K8N Neo2 to fix temp reporting issues. On the websites how-to
(http://www.msicomputer.com/support/BIOS_award.asp) it makes it sound like you would flash from a floppy. But when I downloaded the bios, it also had a readme that specifically said to not flash from floppy (http://216.158.218.35/edoc/bios_uploads/7025v12.zip).

Which one is correct? And also, they have a way to flash the bios for a non-FAT filesystem. Would I do that method since I use NTFS?

Sorry for all the questions, I just want to make sure its done right. I never will learn if I don't do it.

The best way is to use liveupdate. As long as you have a stable windows system theres no problem at all. Ive used windows to flash my bios for this board and my A7N8X and never had an issue. I dont even own a floppy

Well, I did come across one issue while updating via Windows. Upon reboot after flashing, it redetected my IDE drives and then attempted to reinstall the drivers. Well, it did but then it gave me four error messages saying "The driver is not intended for this platform" So I went into my device manager, and sure enough four items with yellow. So I remove and reboot and it happens again. I eventually just install the Nvidia IDE drivers, but they borked my last hard drive, so hopefully the new set here is better. I have a screen shot of the device manager if that would help. I have nowhere to host it though.
