correct choice?

Between those 3, the XFX for sure. It has faster core and memory speeds. I don't know what your price limit is, but those are all pretty weak cards, and for a little more you can get a whole lot more performance. If you like Nvidia, check out the 5900XT series, they can be had for around 180.

The above people are right, save your money and get something more around $200... itll be worth it.

do not get an XT card for nVidia.. i think the 5600XT is 64 bit or something..

also best bet is a 5700 non ultra or better a 9600 Pro/XT for your price range!

Thanks for helping me out. I just want to get the best that I can get for what I am paying.

OK if I add more cash (max is $170, I still need to buy RAM and HDD, only have 500 to spend) what about 1 of these:

RADEON 9600XT ULTRA <---- This one correct?

RADEON 9800SE

RADEON 9600PRO

I do not care if it is ATI or nVidia (I would not be able to tell the difference). Just as long as I can do the video editing (weddings mostly) and can burn them to DVD. Also play a few games nothing major like what you all play - I am not that good. I like arcade types and old doom and duke nukem type of games
