I'm looking into a new power supply and was wondering what I could expect. I am having some issues with my games to start off with. Anything intensive with say half life 2 or unreal tournament 2004 and my computer will come to a complete halt/perform a critical error/or stop immediately with a blank blue screen and the highest pitch annoying sound ever. These random unstable errors lead me to belive it's my psu. I am wondering what a nice solid psu would be to run this setup. I was looking at the sparkle 550w or something similar to that. Has anyone had any experience with this psu? Any other recommendations? Also, when reading reviews I hear a lot about Antec psu's blowing out the first week, or only working for a short time. Are these bad reviews something to be aware of when purchasing a psu, or will there always be a few bad ones in the bunch. I thought antec was supposed to be a very respectable company. I just need something that is solid because instability is pwning my system
