Correct AGP voltages??

Hello all!

I have been tying to find the correct voltage, or the highest voltage that can be applied, to my X800Pro card? Is the standard 8xAGP voltage 0.8V or 1.5V? Would the maximun voltage be around 1.6V or is that asking to bake my video card? Should I really have to increase the AGP voltage for these newer video cards when doing some moderate overclocking?

I am a newbie.

Oh come on people, no one has any info regarding maximum AGP voltages or knows of any one place I can find this kind of info? And yes, I checked ATI's documents and from what I can tell they dont have anything on what Im looking for. :confused:
 
i believe its 1.5-1.6v, but you shouldnt need to mess with it for overclocking the video card
 
Made for 1.5V+, but you can go much higher safely. But it will give you little or no gains. I used to run my 9800P at 1.8, and now run my XT-PE at 1.7. They do like a little extra juice but it's essentially meaningless.
 
Thank you for the reply's! I was assuming that it should not be a problem, but I really wanted to get some feedback before I toasted my X800pro. It just seems that when I try and run ATItool or any other overclocking tool that my X800 runs much more smoothly if I crank the voltage on my IC7-G's AGP port to about 1.6V or even 1.7V. Otherwise, I suppose all boards and cards or going to act differently.
