Well I sent our boy a PM asking if we would be winning to donate to the next CPU contest, no reply as of yet. He has some boys over at GenMay going too.
PM:
So for kicks, I wanted to see what my output was. I started rocking for the last place person- hl336@cornell. HL output was 0 when I started. Bet he/she is wondering what the hell is going on....
So in the end, I can't beat BRH's output by myself. It's getting closer, and mine are 24/7. I think Cornell has upped the bandwidth which helps me out a ton (my T-1 line is just maxed out at the shop for download). And come Monday I'm not sure what I'll do, sucks working off a slow internet pipe being clogged by all this crap.
I dunno, make of it what you will. Guess in the end it's just a guy screwing around.

Hi!
It's the guy who has been giving you a hard time in the Cornell thread... Just teasing with ya.
I just wanted to check to see if we did all we could to make sure you finish in the top 3 if you would be willing to donate to the next CPU contest here?
If you have not seem the thread its- http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=842054
Viper has done a great job and they are planning another one. It's all about getting new folks folding.
Please let me know what you think of this whole idea.
Thanks,
Marty
