Is there a performance hit when the RAM is not operating 1:1 with the FSB - besides the reduced speed of the RAM itself?

In other words, is it OK to use a memory divider or should you stay 1:1 at all costs?

If you get a significant clock speed boost, then a divider is fine.

If you're sacrificing 200mhz on the RAM for only a 50-75mhz overclock on the core... Well, I'd benchmark both settings before you commit to one or the other.
