So I found out that there is a motherboard that supports my laptops core solo processor, the issue though is that its as much as a 939 board + processor. Was wondering if anyone could tell which would be a better overall performer, a Core Solo at 1.8 with 2mb cache or a Athlon 64 venice at 2.0 with 512kb cache.
Useage for me is: games if i see a new fps I did the demo of prey and wouldnt mind playing that through, photo editing (that just takes a lot of ram it seems), audio and video stuff kind of.
