Core i7 - Heatsink decision

I want a new heatsink/fan for my Core i7 S1366, i'm replacing the stock cooling solution, and yes, I plan to overclock it.

In my town, i can only buy these heatsinks, which one is the best?

Zalman CNPS10X Extreme
Noctua CPU Cooler NH-U12P
Thermalright TRue Black 120
Thermalright Venomous X
Thermalright Venomous X-RT

Out of those, I believe the TRUE Black is the best bet. Pair it with a couple of good fans and you have an air cooling set-up as good as any.

yep, the True Black looks interesting, i believe it's based in the 120 Extreme

True Black 120 is the best out of those. Make sure it will fit your motherboard though. Sometimes the size of the TRUE can obscure some memory slots depending on how you orient it.

Yeah I'm not sure where they're getting the idea that the Black is the best either. The Venomous X is the clear winner out of those choices.

The only difference I can see is the newer X-RT version includes the AM2/AM3 mounting system along with a fan and Thermalright Chill Factor III thermal paste instead of CF II. If you're going to be using it solely on an i7 platform there shouldn't be any real difference for you unless I'm missing something.

Which is TONS better! And you won't need a washer mod. Just make sure to read my post about adding some insulating washers to the backplate.
