Ok, so here are the pictures of the build and setup of my cave :). I ended up using Vista x64 due to some issues with Win7 install.. I'll try again on a seperate partition next week when i have some free time.

Pay no heed to the wiring job.. I will take time to properly route wires when it actually makes it into a case.. right now, its just going to sit on its antistatic bag and chill.

Nope, not yet anyway. Im going to buy a different cooler and a case either next week or the week after, still have no idea what they are going to be.

The desk is a z-Line designs Gemini L from staples ($99)

While the computer is running, take it off of the anti-static bag. The bag is slightly conductive, so you're basically connecting all the solder joints that touch it; however slight/low the conduction may be, its still not good for the mobo. Place the mobo on its cardboard box instead.

Thank you for letting me know that... Not sure why i didn't know that, but i fixed it, the motherboard is now on a piece of cardboard

Im in the process of benching the system, before i apply the SP1 Vista update, i want to do a comparison of Vista x64 and Vista x64 SP1. Doing all processor, the hdd, and all memory benchmarks in Sandra, then im going to run multiple 3dMark Vantange benchmarks, ill list the settings for all of them. If there are any other benchmarks people would like to see, post them here and I will get to them.

Its a beast, thats for sure. I know its not a crazy intensive game, but it powers burnout paradise, max settings, on both monitors (took me forever to figure out how to get it to span both monitors, but I did it.) And while i havent pushed it, i saw no stutter at all in far cry 2 on all high settings

Oc and Bench update: I decided that I am not going to post benchies until everything is setup to where i want it. Too time consuming to keep running benchies. So, a small teaser update, I have the 4890 @990/1025 with the autotuner. . . (yes yes, i know.. why on earth did i run the auto tuner.. I was curious to see what it would go to)
