Core conflicts on HT?

Hey all,

I'm trying to run two sessions of FAH on my 2.6 GHz P4c, and I'm positive that I set the CPU_IDs properly, but for some reason when I run EM3, both cores show up as 0 for progress, and just hang there.

My CPU usage is 100% as expected, so FAH is doing something, but is it just conflicting/locking up?

What do your log files say?

EMIII takes a little while to report... one frame has to finish before EMIII will display anything...

Keep on Folding!! For the [H]orde!!

Step 1: Edit your registry entries to include the "-local -advmethods -forceasm" flags...

Is there more after those logs? did they finish a % yet?

Keep on Folding!! For the [H]orde!!

Those are both running the same WU, Same Run/Clone/Gen. So IIRC, you will only get credit for one of them. Did you copy the first folder after it had already started working?

Oldbenwa

I'm guessing the problem is along the lines of what Oldbenwa is thinking. Does one instance run properly by itself? If so, delete everything in that second directory and set it up again.

so do I edit:

FAH@C:+Documents and Settings+Chris+My Documents+folding2+FAH502-Console.exe

with:
FAH@C:+Documents and Settings+Chris+My Documents+folding2+FAH502-Console.exe -local -advmethods -forceasm

This is the registry entry under the service.

Benwa is right, I copied the first folder after it had already started working. Is it possible for me to be a lazy ass and just let it fold through this core, then they'll both go on their own?
