Any one manage to get Battlefront to run on a Core 2 Quad. Wont work on mine and tried the suggested fixes. I can run BF3 and BF4 fine.

Planning upgrade soon to a 4790K on a z97 board soon, May have too bring this forward !

I suspect the beta has a zillion debug lines of code running because my 4.2 ghz hexa core gets maxed out in between rounds and goes up to 70% usage during rounds..compared to about 30% usage with bf4......I cant see the final game shipping that way;) in any case an upgrade from that system would be nice anyway

No, it does the jump from 30% to 70% because for the first time ever, EA has an engine that scales beyond four major threads!

But since the game runs on a (simulated) dual core, I can't figure why your Core 2 Quad wouldn't work. Probably some corner case incompatibility. I mean, the game crashes for everyone right now. Try again later when things are more stable :D

It's not implausible that corner-case incompatibilities could happen; remember, ANNO 2205 won't work with a Core 2 Quad, but works just fine with G3258 - and the entire rest of the build (other than motherboard/CPU/RAM) is unchanged. (Personal experience - which has me utterly perplexed; XSplit GameCaster has identical issues; fails with Q6600, but works with G3258.)
