No one said that there is ht on xs. Not a single one. Anyways was the fairy big, small, giantic, did it have wings? hehe, anyways like the person said up above. I guess the 2.93 would be the xe, but none of these are out, some of these things are subject to change.

Nothing even remotely related to what is being said at XS.org is anywhere in any spec that I have seen on Woodcrest/Conroe/Merom. Believe me... if it was there, it would be on woodcrest and since Woodcrest launches VERY soon.....I don't think it's subject to change anytime soon. This would represent a MAJOR change in the design... not something that would be hidden from the people doing validation. Yea... don't hold your breath on "HT2"

I am hoping for a 1333FSB.... Even if they release the XE @ 2.93 GHz or whatever....

I was hoping for 8MB L2 on that sucker.... 3333MHz and 1333FSB... Id pay 1250$ for it <3

HT and HTT are not the same thing... although I doubt that Conroe will have either one of those.

a 2.93GHz conroe will most likely be on a 266 FSB. The interesting thing is, that there doesn't seem to be any more high end intel chipsets comming out any time soon. There is nothing to replace the i975 at the moment.

That's not suprising at all. Look at the history of intel's chipsets for the last couple of generations. You usually see the "performance" chipset come out about 6 months after the "value" chipest of the same generation and a few months before the "value" chipset of the next generation.
