I have 2 gigs of OCZ gold gamer 667 ram (I believe it's cl 4). Would I need to get new ram to run conroe?

I've seen some posts around about how optimal memory for stock conroe would be DDR2-533 for the 1066 bus parts and 667 for the 1333 bus XE. Just want to make sure I understand what's best, since I'm working on pulling together some parts/upgrades in advance of the release. If I run near stock, I'm better off with DDR2-533/667 with low latency, but for overclocking I'd obviously need RAM that supports higher speeds, such as DDR2-800 or 1066?

Same thing happened to me today. Except my ram was 2gb of the ddr2-677 that OPB was showing off on XS.Donnie27 said:DDR2 800 CAS4 4-4-12 for $199. Mine was ordered Wed and it came today but I missed the UPS Man. Will have to pick it Monday, not like I'm in a hurry LOL! Damn Newegg![]()
