by now everyone has seen the prices for the new intel chips. do u think that prices r gonna b gradually picking up? or r they going to stay where they or becom cheaper? especially with the athlon price cuts in effect, do u think the new intels r going to sell out too fast?
 
I think they will stay or drop some. Partly due to price drops and partly due to the fast taht AMD has shipped some 65nm cpu's to mobo mfg's

is amd gonna b coming out with their own special cpu? i heard sumthin about quadcore but i heard that wont b till 2008, also does that make it even worth investing in AM2 if the new intel is already out?
 
I do not know if they have a special chip coming but 65nm should come with L3 cache. I would expect quad core in 2007 first making its entrance as an opteron and later a desktop cpu. I haven't talked with my source in quite some time so I am not sure on dates or the likes.
