Finishisd building my new system asus commando, asus 8800 GTS, corsair ddr2 800

Overclock is 7x400 ( 2.8ghz ) 1600mhz fsb, stock intel air cooler. cpu volts @ 1.3

Question is im 100% stable now however under full load my temps hits max of 49 to 54c peak, idle temp is at 28c, is that to hot or am i safe ? setting my multiplyer to 6x400 gives me max temps 50c

Oh and one more quick question if nobody minds, my asus commado i notice when set to auto the volts for NB, cpu and SB go way to high so i set them manualy the best i could, however i had nothing to use as a refrance.

So i set everything to this:

Vcore - 1.30
NB core 1.30
FSB termination - 1.20
DDRII - 1.9
DDRII Termination - 0.95
SB Core - 1.10
SB ( SATA and PCI) 1.55
---------------------------------------
PCI-E 100mhz
PCI 33.33 mhz

Is that correct and safe also ? i had no idea what the ddr refrance voltage setting where for there was 3 differant one and i left them to auto

Your temps seem fine for a stock cooler. I had my E6300 on stock air at one point, and it idled at 54C(our computer room is unreasonably hot for some reason) Now I have an Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro and it idles at 35-40C.

As for the settings for your mobo, can't help you out there. Sorry.

Thanks for the quick responce, least know my cpu shouldnt burn up, i havent overlocked a system since my old P4 1.6 northwood at 2.4ghz its been going for 7 years now, but yea anyway i bought this system with overclocking in mind, just the asus commando has all kinds of crazy tuning options iv never seen before so its been somewhat intimdating learning it, and after reading tons and tons of reviews no sights really listed what default manual settings should be put at, just everyone said not to use auto when overclocking wich i noticed right off the bat was wrong because my NB hit 1.65 and my cpu core was 1.5 and thats way to high the alarms went off in aus probe haha
